CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF ANDREW STEPHEN "BUD" PAZUR, JR.
Blues musicians Jim Ohlschmidt and Mike Ammons cover this Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee blues standard at the Celebration of Life of Bud Pazur on January 18, 2024 at the 8th Street Ale Haus in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Jim plays Bud's Fender Stratocaster for what was one of his favorite blues classics.
Before Bud passed away on Dec 19, 2023, he ensured a generous donation for the Humane Society of Sheboygan County. Please support Bud’s HSSC Memorial Fund for Cats…in memory of his blind kitty Edward and all the other cats who need a forever home. BE SURE TO NOTE "BUD PAZUR FUND" in the "Tribute Name" field. THANK YOU!
Sheboygan musicians Jim Ohlschmidt (foreground) and Mike Ammons channel the great Mississippi John Hurt at Bud's Celebration of Life.
A promotional poster of an old Delta bluesman with a National steel guitar in his lap grabbed his attention. Seeing Son House live on campus at Penn State in 1967 changed his life.
